A NIGHTMARE IN 3D

My second all-time favourite movie is being given another world-wide release!

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas will hit the big screen October 20th just in time for Halloween. But this time Disney has digitally remastered this classic in Disney Digital 3D! That's right! All of your favourite characters will be even larger than life than ever before!

I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I never saw Nightmare in the theatre when it originally came out so I am thrilled to be a part of it this time around!

I should note that this movie will not be filmed in the anaglyph format as shown in the picture above. You will not be using the red/cyan 3D glasses to view it. You will have to wear glasses however. It will be like watching one of those fancy underwater IMAX movies that is narrated by Leonard Nemoy or the Muppets in 3D show at Walt Disney World.

Check out the website and trailer here.

Actually 3D Muppets is 3D anaglyph as far as I know.

But anyways... this looks super freaking cool! When does it get released? Was I too excited and I missed where you said that? I don't know! I'm too excited!

The Muppets 3D show requires glasses...but they're not the red/cyan glasses. Both of the lenses are the same color...

This is gonna be released in the regular theaters? They gonna give you the glasses when you buy yer ticket or something? Interesting stuff...

I've never even seen the movie...may have to check it out...

Guess I'm remembering Muppets wrong. It's been a while.

My guess is that it'll be an Imax release... I'm not sure how regular theaters would do the glasses thing. And if you haven't seen it, coolshades... you should definitely make this your first viewing. That'd be awesome!

Yeah that's what I'm thinking...see it in 3D first. There's no IMAX in Tucson, though..I'd have to go up to Phoenix to see it..
